About BBC

Carrying the burdens of the vulnerable

Folanwaleayo Foundation is a faith-driven, non-profit organization committed to expanding access to quality education, healthcare and economic opportunity for vulnerable and underserved children, families and individuals across Nigeria.

Educate

We identify and sponsor eligible children and youth in primary, secondary and university education, and work toward affordable schools for the less privileged.

Support Health

We mobilize funds, conduct hospital visits, verify cases, and facilitate direct payments for treatment, surgery and medication.

Rehabilitate

We enroll beneficiaries in certified rehabilitation centers and provide vocational training to help them regain dignity and independence.

Empower

Through LEAP, beneficiaries graduate with practical skills, mentorship, and pathways to sustainable, self-reliant livelihoods.

Our Approach

The problem we exist to solve

Thousands of children from low-income families are unable to access or complete quality education. School dropouts remain high, and limited access to affordable, quality institutions continues to widen the gap between privileged and underserved children.

1. Identification & Sponsorship

We identify vulnerable children and youth through communities, schools, faith-based organizations and local partners, providing scholarships, tuition support, learning materials and uniforms.

2. Continuous Support

We keep beneficiaries in school through mentorship, academic guidance, psychosocial support and regular progress monitoring — reducing dropout rates.

3. Long-Term Vision

Establishing affordable primary schools, secondary schools and a university so every child can learn and reach their full potential, regardless of background.

Our Programs

Three ways we carry the burden
