Folanwaleayo Empowerment Foundation
A faith-driven, non-profit outreach carrying the burdens of the vulnerable — through education, health support, and economic empowerment. No one should suffer without support due to lack of resources.
About BBC
Folanwaleayo Foundation is a faith-driven, non-profit organization committed to expanding access to quality education, healthcare and economic opportunity for vulnerable and underserved children, families and individuals across Nigeria.
We identify and sponsor eligible children and youth in primary, secondary and university education, and work toward affordable schools for the less privileged.
We mobilize funds, conduct hospital visits, verify cases, and facilitate direct payments for treatment, surgery and medication.
We enroll beneficiaries in certified rehabilitation centers and provide vocational training to help them regain dignity and independence.
Through LEAP, beneficiaries graduate with practical skills, mentorship, and pathways to sustainable, self-reliant livelihoods.
Our Approach
Thousands of children from low-income families are unable to access or complete quality education. School dropouts remain high, and limited access to affordable, quality institutions continues to widen the gap between privileged and underserved children.
We identify vulnerable children and youth through communities, schools, faith-based organizations and local partners, providing scholarships, tuition support, learning materials and uniforms.
We keep beneficiaries in school through mentorship, academic guidance, psychosocial support and regular progress monitoring — reducing dropout rates.
Establishing affordable primary schools, secondary schools and a university so every child can learn and reach their full potential, regardless of background.
Our Programs
From classrooms to hospital wards to vocational workshops — here's how BBC shows up for the people we serve.

Scholarships, tuition support, learning materials and uniforms for eligible pupils and students.
Mentorship, academic guidance and psychosocial support from primary through secondary education.
A long-term pathway of affordable primary schools, secondary schools and a university.

Mobilizing local and international funding to make quality healthcare accessible to underserved communities.
Regular hospital visits, case assessments, and direct payments for treatment, surgery and medication for verified beneficiaries.
Our long-term goal: a fully equipped facility offering affordable, accessible preventive and curative care.

A 3–6 month journey combining spiritual transformation, vocational training and entrepreneurship development.

How We're Organized
Provides strategic oversight and ultimate decision-making authority — ensuring BBC remains aligned with its faith-driven mission, maintains financial integrity, and approves major programs and budgets.
Lead program planning, fundraising and execution — mobilizing funds, championing outreach events, coordinating training, and serving as ambassadors of BBC's mission.
Oversees day-to-day operations, coordinating beneficiary identification, managing records, liaising between the Board and field teams, and ensuring compliance.

Before BBC found me, I had given up. Today, I run my own tailoring business, my children are in school, and I have hope again. The Foundation did not just help me survive — they helped me live.
